GROWER SYMPOSIUM

The Grower Symposium addresses an invited audience of growers, crop consultants, rural power company representatives, bankers, vendors, NRD and NRCS personnel, researchers, and NEWBA Board and staff.  As a twist on many prior experiences, this event sets producers at the front of the room and all other partner/stakeholders in the audience. Growers are asked to describe and discuss what was learned in the prior growing season and provide input on planning for the upcoming season. Past programs have been well received with lively discussion and great interest in the results. The attendees are again asked to give feedback about what they have heard and to offer suggestions for future programs. In the past, Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) has sent a videographer to film these events and NEWBA has edited and posted some of the content on the NEWBA website. We seek funding to support at least one of these events.
